The Vaticano Museums are open! was the first project I deeply enjoyed doing, I was so involved with it and it made so much sense to me, that it felt so good when my colleagues would look at those pieces and say “This would definitely make me go to the museums”. That was the main purpose of the project, to attract a younger audience to visit the Vaticano Museums. Mission accomplished!
As the majority of young people don't go there because they are not interested in religion or art, this work aims to show them that there is more to see there than those topics that they find boring. These three posters show what the museums have but hide... what the church censures. My goal was to tease young people and make them curious about what they can find in that 'sacred' place.
For this project I developed a style that my teacher described as "so unique, something he has never seen before".
